Glattbrugg, Zurich The Zurich International Airport and the Waste Water Treatment Plant for the city of Opfikon/Glattbrugg are located in the immediate neighborhood of the UBS Card Center. Aircraft exhaust emissions from the airport and odors from the wastewater treatment plant are severe during certain weather wind situations. The smell was distributed by the air supply system into the office rooms. Due to the complaints from the office workers about the indoor air quality, the Visa Card Center decided to retro-fit an electronically controlled ionair system into their supply air ducts. Indoor air quality reports show a significant reduction of indoor air pollution after ionair was installed. Ionair provides a cleaner and healthier indoor environment. back to reference projects |
